Phillip began his career with Taj International in Dubai after studying hospitality in India and Switzerland, contributing to several high-profile restaurant and venue openings across the globe. Over a 28-year career, he has led acclaimed projects in the UAE, India, Switzerland, the USA, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, including India’s largest nightclub and the largest restaurant in Atlanta under Starwood Hotels.
In the UK, he helped The Vineyard in Stockcross achieve two Michelin stars, managed the Restaurant & Bar at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, and oversaw multiple South London venues, including a Michelin-starred site. He later played a key role in the international expansion of SushiSamba and Duck & Waffle, spearheading launches in Amsterdam, Covent Garden, Hong Kong, and Riyadh, where he most recently opened and operated SushiSamba in Saudi Arabia.
